Product Overview: The 5557 series is a wire-to-board connector system with a 4.2mm pitch design, offering a complete solution including straight pins, right-angle pins, housings (sockets), and terminals (contacts). This series is designed for applications requiring stable electrical connections and high current carrying capacity, combining structural strength and assembly flexibility, suitable for a variety of industrial and consumer electronic devices.

Product Features:  Offers two plug options: straight pins (vertical mounting) and right-angle pins (horizontal or right-angle mounting), adapting to different chassis space layouts.
Matching housings (usually with locking or latching mechanisms) and crimp/rivet terminals form a complete connection system, simplifying procurement and assembly processes.
Supports high-rated current (typically 5-10A) and voltage, meeting most power transmission needs.
The housing material is flame-retardant (e.g., UL94 V-0), and the terminals are corrosion-resistant with a long mating life.

Product Material Composition: Housing (socket): Typically uses high-temperature resistant, flame-retardant engineering plastic (PA66), providing good insulation and mechanical strength.
Terminals (contacts): Phosphor bronze, tin-plated surface treatment to improve conductivity and oxidation resistance.
Pins (straight/right-angle): Gold or tin plated, with corresponding plating to the terminals, ensuring contact surface compatibility and low impedance.
