0.5mm Pitch, 1.2mm Height, Rear-Entry Horizontal FPC Connector

This horizontal 0.5mm pitch FPC connector runs a low-slung 1.2mm height and uses a rear-entry layout, which helps out a lot when you are trying to route flexible circuits around crowded boards. Going with a flip-lock latch on the backside gives your assembly crew a lot more freedom to maneuver the ribbon cable, locking it down tight without messing up your signal paths or hogging valuable board space. We molded the base and cover out of halogen-free plastic that clears UL94V-0 safety ratings, matching it up with copper alloy contacts finished in gold or tin plating so the tracks stay conductive and don't oxidize down the line. It handles insulation duties cleanly and holds onto tight manufacturing tolerances, making it a very sensible component for compact handheld gadgets, flat display panels, and high-density PCB layouts where every millimeter counts.
